Here’s an English translation of the fascinating radio lecture Tynged yr Iaith (Fate of the Language) by Saunders Lewis which was delivered exactly 50 years ago today in a BBC broadcast from a small studio in the centre of Cardiff. The translation is by G. Aled Williams.
